How to Draw Tippy the Turtle
Tippy the Turtle is a beloved character from the classic children’s storybook, “Tippy the Turtle and His Magic Shell”. Tippy is a friendly and kind turtle who loves to explore and have adventures. He has a special shell with magical powers that always help him in times of need. If you’ve ever wanted to draw your own version of Tippy, here’s a simple tutorial to get you started.
To begin, you’ll need a few basic supplies. Get yourself a pencil, eraser, and some paper. A ruler and compass can also be helpful. Once you have all the supplies, it’s time to start drawing.
Step 1: Draw the Shell
Start out by drawing a circle to represent the shell. With a ruler, draw four curved lines that connect the edges of the circle. This will create the shell’s shape. You can make the lines slightly curved, or draw them in a straight line. You can also add a few extra lines, or a design in the middle of the shell.
Step 2: Draw the Head
Next, draw a small oval shape for the turtle’s head. Make sure it’s slightly bigger than the shell. This will be the base for the eyes, nose, and mouth.
Step 3: Draw the Eyes
Now it’s time to draw the eyes. Draw two small circles on the head, slightly above the center. These will be the eyes. You can also draw two small lines inside the circles to make them look more like eyes.
Step 4: Draw the Nose and Mouth
Next, draw a small triangle for the nose. This should be located just below the eyes. Finally, draw a small curved line for the mouth. This should be located below the nose.
Step 5: Draw the Legs and Feet
Now it’s time to draw the legs and feet. Start by drawing four small curved lines that connect the shell to the head. These will be the turtle’s legs. Then, draw four small circles at the end of the lines. These will be the feet.
Step 6: Draw the Tail
Finally, draw a small curved line at the back of the turtle’s shell. This will be the tail.
And that’s it! You’ve successfully drawn your own version of Tippy the Turtle. You can now color it in and make it look however you’d like. Have fun and get creative!
