What is an OC Prompt?
An OC Prompt is an idea for a character that you can use to create an original character (OC) for a story or writing project. The concept of OC prompts has become increasingly popular in recent years, as the rise of fanfiction and other online writing projects has encouraged people to create more original characters. OC prompts can help spark creativity and give you an idea of what kind of character to create.
Why Should You Draw Your OC Prompts?
Drawing your OC prompts is a great way to bring your ideas to life. Drawing your character can help you get a better sense of who they are and what they look like. It can also help you better visualize the story you’re writing or the project you’re working on. Drawing can also help you to flesh out your character’s story, giving you ideas for plot points and characterization.
How to Draw Your OC Prompts
Before you begin drawing your OC prompts, it’s important to have a good idea of what your character looks like. Think about their physical features, clothing, and hairstyle. You may also want to consider their age, ethnicity, and other details. Once you have a good idea of what your character looks like, you can begin sketching them.
Start by drawing their basic shape. This can be a simple stick figure, or you can draw more detailed outlines. After you have the basic shape of the character, you can begin to add details. Draw the clothing, hairstyle, facial features, and any other details that you want to include. You can also add small details, such as jewelry or tattoos.
Once you’ve drawn your character, you can add color to them. You can use colored pencils, markers, or even watercolors. Consider the environment that your character lives in when you choose colors. If your character lives on a beach, for example, you may want to use bright, vibrant colors.
