Steps to Draw a Realistic Unicorn
Drawing a realistic unicorn can be a challenging task, even for experienced artists. Unicorns are mythical creatures that have been depicted in many different ways throughout history, and creating a realistic drawing of one can take a lot of skill and patience. But if you follow these steps, you’ll be able to create a realistic drawing of a unicorn that you can be proud of.
Step 1: Start With the Head
The first step in drawing a realistic unicorn is to create the head. Start by drawing a circle for the head. Then, draw two curved lines from the top of the circle to the bottom, making sure that they meet at a point. This will create the shape of the unicorn’s face. Next, draw two curved lines from the bottom of the circle to the top, making sure that they meet at a point. This will create the shape of the unicorn’s muzzle.
Once you have the basic shape of the unicorn’s head, you can start to add details. Draw two curved lines on either side of the head, creating the shape of the ears. Then, draw two more curved lines on either side of the head, creating the shape of the horns. Finally, draw two curved lines on the top of the head, creating the shape of the mane.
Step 2: Draw the Body
The next step in drawing a realistic unicorn is to draw the body. Start by drawing a curved line from the bottom of the head to the bottom of the paper. This will create the shape of the neck. Then, draw two curved lines from the bottom of the neck to the bottom of the paper, creating the shape of the back. Finally, draw two curved lines from the bottom of the back to the bottom of the paper, creating the shape of the legs.
Once you have the basic shape of the unicorn’s body, you can start to add details. Draw two curved lines on either side of the body, creating the shape of the wings. Then, draw two curved lines on the back of the body, creating the shape of the tail. Finally, draw two curved lines on the top of the body, creating the shape of the mane.
Step 3: Add the Finishing Touches
The final step in drawing a realistic unicorn is to add the finishing touches. Start by adding some shading to the unicorn’s body, making sure to add darker shades in the areas that are closest to the shadows. Then, add some highlights to the mane and tail, making sure to add lighter shades in the areas that are closest to the light. Finally, add some details to the face, such as eyes and a mouth.
With these steps, you should now have a realistic drawing of a unicorn that you can be proud of. Remember to take your time and be patient as you work on your drawing. With practice and dedication, you will be able to create a realistic drawing of a unicorn that you can be proud of.
