Step 1: Start by Drawing the Head
The first step in drawing a stegosaurus is to draw the head. Start by drawing a circle for the head, followed by two curved lines for the neck. The neck should be slightly curved, with the head pointing towards the left side of the paper. Next, draw a curved line that comes up from the neck and curves back down towards the body. This will form the snout of the stegosaurus. Finally, draw two small circles on either side of the head for the eyes.
Step 2: Draw the Body and Spikes
Now it’s time to draw the body of the stegosaurus. Start by drawing a long, curved line that is slightly curved towards the right side of the paper. Draw another curved line that comes up from the neck and curves down again towards the body. This will form the back of the stegosaurus. Then draw two curved lines on either side of the body for the legs. Finally, draw two curved lines on the back of the stegosaurus to form the spikes.
Step 3: Finish the Drawing
Once you have drawn the body and spikes of the stegosaurus, it’s time to finish the drawing. Draw two curved lines for the tail. Then draw two small circles for the feet. Finally, draw a few small lines on the spikes to give them a more realistic look. Once you have finished your drawing, you can color it in however you like.
Now that you have learned how to draw a stegosaurus easy, you can move on to more advanced drawings. You can draw the stegosaurus in different poses and with different features.
