How to Draw Charmeleon
Drawing any character from the popular Pokémon franchise, Charmeleon included, can be a daunting task for beginners, but it doesn’t have to be. With a few simple steps, you can easily learn how to draw a Charmeleon. Before you begin, though, make sure you have all of the necessary supplies like paper, a pencil, an eraser and a sharpener. Once you have everything, you’re ready to get started!
Step 1: Draw the Outline of the Charmeleon’s Head
To begin drawing your Charmeleon, start by sketching a simple oval shape. This will be the outline of the Charmeleon’s head. Make sure the oval is tilted slightly to the left and that it’s slightly pointed at the top. This will give your Charmeleon a nice, realistic look. Once you have the outline of the head, you can move on to the next step.
Step 2: Sketch the Outline of the Charmeleon’s Body
Now that you have the outline of the Charmeleon’s head, it’s time to sketch the outline of the rest of the body. Start by drawing a curved line extending from the top of the head and curving down to the bottom of the paper. This curved line will be the Charmeleon’s back. From the end of this line draw two more curved lines extending outward and connecting to the sides of the head. This will form the Charmeleon’s chest.
Step 3: Draw the Charmeleon’s Arms and Legs
The next step is to draw the Charmeleon’s arms and legs. Start by sketching two curved lines extending outward from the chest. These lines will be the Charmeleon’s arms. Then, draw two short lines extending outward from the bottom of the body. These lines will be the Charmeleon’s legs. Make sure you draw them slightly bent to give the Charmeleon a more realistic look.
Step 4: Draw the Charmeleon’s Tail
The Charmeleon’s tail is arguably one of the most important parts of its design. To draw the tail, start by sketching a curved line extending outward from the back of the Charmeleon’s body. This line should be curved and slightly pointed at the end. Then, draw a few more curved lines extending outward from the end of the tail. These lines should be slightly curved and pointed in different directions.
Step 5: Draw the Charmeleon’s Spikes
The Charmeleon’s spikes are an important part of its design. To draw them, start by sketching a curved line extending outward from the top of the head. Then, draw two curved lines extending outward from the sides of the head. These lines should be slightly curved and pointed in different directions. Finally, draw a few more curved lines extending outward from the back of the Charmeleon’s body. These lines should be slightly curved and pointed in different directions.
Step 6: Draw the Charmeleon’s Facial Features
The last step is to draw the Charmeleon’s facial features. Start by sketching two small circles for the eyes. Then, draw two curved lines extending outward from the eyes and connecting to the sides of the head. These lines will be the Charmeleon’s eyebrows. Finally, draw a curved line extending outward from the top of the head and connecting to the bottom of the head. This line will be the Charmeleon’s mouth.
Step 7: Color Your Charmeleon
Now that you have finished drawing your Charmeleon, it’s time to color it in. Charmeleon’s typically have a bright orange body with yellow accents and black stripes. You can also add some white highlights to the Charmeleon’s eyes and mouth for a more realistic look. Once you have finished coloring your Charmeleon, you can show it off to your friends and family!
Drawing Charmeleon may have seemed like a daunting task at first, but with a few simple steps you can easily learn how to draw a realistic Charmeleon. All you need is a bit of practice and patience. With a bit of practice, you’ll be able to draw Charmeleon, and any other Pokémon character, with ease. So, grab your supplies and get drawing!
