How to Draw Gary the Snail
Gary the Snail is one of the most popular characters from the popular cartoon Spongebob Squarepants. He is a small, yellow, slow-moving, and intelligent snail. If you want to draw your favorite character, here are the steps to help you get started.
Step 1: Making the Shape
Start by drawing a circle on a piece of paper. This will be the shape of Gary’s head. Then draw a curved line beneath it. This line will form the top part of his shell. To make the bottom part of the shell, draw a curved line that connects with the first line. Now your basic shape is complete.
Step 2: Drawing the Details
Now it’s time to add some details to your shape. Start by drawing a curved line that runs along the top of the shell. This line should start at the top of the head and end at the bottom of the shell. This will define the shape of the head and the shell. Next, draw two curved lines that run along the sides of the shell. These lines will add texture to the shell.
Then draw two small circles for Gary’s eyes. Make sure to leave a few spaces between the eyes. Add two curved lines for his eyebrows. Finally, draw a curved line for the mouth. This line should go from one corner of the mouth to the other.
Step 3: Adding Color
Once you have all the details in place, it’s time to add some color. Gary is usually a bright yellow color. Use a yellow crayon or marker to fill in his head and shell. Then use a black crayon or marker to add the details. For example, use the black crayon to color in his eyes and mouth. This will give him a more realistic look.
Step 4: Finishing Touches
Now that you’ve got the basic shape and color in place, you can add some finishing touches. For example, you can draw some lines to make Gary look more realistic. You can also add some small details like a spike on top of his head or a shell pattern on his shell.
Once you are happy with your drawing, you can add some color to the background. A light blue or green color would work well. You can also add some small details like a starfish or bubble to give the drawing more depth.
With these simple steps, you can draw your favorite character, Gary the Snail. Just remember to take your time and have fun with it!
