How to Draw a Husky Dog Step by Step
Huskies are well-known for their beautiful snow-white fur, blue eyes, and friendly personalities. Drawing a husky can be a fun and rewarding art project. It requires patience and practice, but with some tips and guidance, you can create a realistic husky drawing. Whether you’re a novice artist or a more experienced one, you can learn how to draw a husky with this step-by-step guide.
Step 1: Draw the Outline of the Husky’s Head
Start by drawing the husky’s head. Use a light pencil to lightly draw an oval or circle shape for the head. This will be the outline of the head, so keep it light and loose. Then draw the ears and the muzzle. The ears should be slightly rounded at the top and tapered at the bottom. The muzzle should be wider at the top and slightly narrower at the bottom. Add a few lines for the eyes and nose.
Step 2: Draw the Body and Legs
Next, draw the body and legs of the husky. Start with the chest and shoulder area. Draw two curved lines for the chest and shoulder area, and then draw two more curved lines that join together at the top. This will be the outline of the body. Then draw the four legs. Draw two straight lines for each leg, and then draw a curved line at the end of each line. This will be the paw of the husky. Make sure to draw the paws facing outward, not inward.
Step 3: Draw the Tail
After you’ve drawn the body and legs, draw the tail. Draw a curved line for the outline of the tail. Then draw two curved lines that join together at the bottom. This will be the outline of the tail. Make sure to draw the tail pointing upward. This will give your husky an alert and active look.
Step 4: Add the Fur and Details
Now it’s time to add the fur. Start by drawing small curved lines along the outline of the head, body, and legs. These lines will give the husky a soft, furry look. Then draw some small circles for the eyes, nose, and ears. Add some small lines for the mouth and whiskers. Finally, draw some small curved lines for the fur on the tail.
Step 5: Color the Drawing
Now you’re ready to color your drawing. Use white or light gray for the fur, black for the eyes and nose, and light brown or gray for the ears. You can also use other colors, such as light blue, to add a bit of color to your drawing. When you’re done coloring, use a black pen or marker to draw the outline of the husky. This will give your drawing a finished look.
Step 6: Finish Your Drawing
Now your husky drawing is finished. You can add a few more details if you like, such as fur tufts on the ears or a collar. Or you can leave it as is. Either way, you’ve created a realistic and beautiful husky drawing.
