How to Draw Stitch Easy
Stitch is one of the most beloved characters from Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, and he’s easily recognizable with his bright blue fur, large ears, and mischievous smile. He’s also one of the most fun characters to draw, as his unique look makes him instantly recognizable and easy to draw. Whether you’re a budding artist or a seasoned pro, this guide will make drawing Stitch a breeze.
Step 1: Start With a Circle
Draw a big circle for Stitch’s head. This circle should be larger than his body, and should be slightly oval-shaped. Make sure to leave room for his ears, which will go just outside the circle. If you make it too small, you won’t have enough room for his ears. Now draw a curved line at the bottom of the circle. This will be the base of Stitch’s chin.
Step 2: Draw His Ears
Draw two big, curved triangles for Stitch’s ears. They should be slightly bigger than the size of his head, and should come out from the sides of his head. Make sure to draw them in the same direction, so that they look symmetrical. You can also add some detailing to the ears, such as fur lines and small circles.
Step 3: Draw His Face
Now draw the details of Stitch’s face. Start by drawing a big circle for his eye, and then draw a small oval inside it for the pupil. In between both circles, draw a curved line for his eyebrow. Next, draw a curved line for his mouth. Make sure to draw it in a mischievous shape, as this will make him look more like Stitch. Finally, draw a small triangle for his nose and two small curves for his cheeks.
Step 4: Draw His Body
Draw a curved line for Stitch’s body. This should be slightly smaller than the size of his head. Add two curved lines at the bottom of the body for his legs, and draw two curved lines at the top of the body for his arms. Finish off the body by drawing a curved line at the bottom of the body for his tail.
Step 5: Add the Finishing Touches
Now you can add the finishing touches to your drawing. Start by drawing a curved line at the top of Stitch’s head for his hair. Then draw two curved lines at the bottom of his body for his feet. Finally, draw two curved lines at the top of his arms for his hands. You can also add some fur lines and small circles to his body to make him look more realistic.
Step 6: Color Your Drawing
Now that your drawing is finished, you can color it in. Start by coloring Stitch’s body in bright blue. Then color his eyes, nose and mouth in black, and his hair and feet in brown. Finally, add some shading and highlights to make your drawing look more realistic. And that’s it — you’ve now successfully drawn Stitch!
