How to Draw the Bears Logo Easily
The Chicago Bears are a professional American football team based in Chicago, Illinois. They compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference North Division. The Bears have won nine NFL Championships, including one Super Bowl, and hold the NFL record for the most enshrinees in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the most retired jersey numbers. As such, the team’s logo is iconic, and here’s a guide to drawing it!
Start With The Shield
The first thing you need to do when drawing the Bears logo is to draw the shield. This is the main part of the logo and should take up the majority of the page. Start by drawing an oval shape, with a line going up the middle to create the shield. Make sure that the top of the shield is slightly wider than the bottom. Then, draw a curved line on the bottom of the shield, starting from the left side and ending on the right. This will create the iconic shape of the Bears logo.
Adding The Bear Face
Next, draw the bear face that is inside the shield. This should be a circle, with two ears and a nose. Make sure to draw the eyes as two small circles, and draw the bear’s mouth in an upside down “U” shape. Finally, draw two small lines coming off the bear’s head to create its whiskers.
Finishing Touches
Once you’ve completed the shield and bear face, you can now add the finishing touches. Draw the team’s name “CHICAGO BEARS” above the shield, with the lettering in an arch shape. Then, draw two stripes coming from each side of the shield and ending just below the bear’s face. These should be in the same shape of the shield. Finally, draw two small stars on either side of the shield.
Drawing the Bears logo is a great way to show your support for the team, and to show your friends and family that you know how to draw it. It may seem complex at first, but with some practice and patience, you’ll be able to draw it perfectly in no time. Just remember to start with the shield, add the bear face, and then finish it off with the team name and stripes. Good luck!
