Preparing to Draw
One of Disney’s most iconic characters, the Beast from Beauty and the Beast is a character that many people love. Whether it is the strong and loyal prince he eventually becomes or the grumpy and misunderstood beast he is at first, the Beast is a character that many people can relate to. Drawing him can be a challenge, though, because of his unique design. To draw the Beast properly, you must first be prepared with the right supplies.
You will need a pencil, eraser, and paper. A ruler and a few different pencils can also be helpful if you need to make lines or small shapes. Once you have the supplies ready, you can begin the process of drawing the Beast.
Start with the Basic Shape
The first step to drawing the Beast is to draw the basic shape of his body. Start by drawing a large oval for his head and neck. Then, draw a slightly smaller oval for the torso, and two large circles for the legs. These shapes should be connected with lines to create the basic shape of the Beast.
Once you have the basic shape of the Beast, you can start to add the details. Draw two round circles for the eyes and a curved line for the mouth. Draw two curved lines for the eyebrows, and two triangle shapes for the horns. The horns should be connected to the head and should be slightly curved. Don’t forget to draw the pointed ears at the sides of the head.
Add the Fur and Clothing
Now you can start to add the fur and clothing to the Beast. Start by drawing small, curved lines to create the fur on his head, neck, and body. Then, draw a shirt, pants, and shoes on the Beast. For the shirt, draw two curved lines for the collar and two vertical lines for the buttons. For the pants, draw two curved lines for the waist and two vertical lines for the pockets. For the shoes, draw two curved lines for the tops and two curved lines for the heels.
Once you have the clothing and fur drawn, you can begin to add the details. Draw a few small lines to create the fur on the chest, arms, and legs. Draw a few small squares and circles to create the buttons and pockets. Add small curved lines to create the texture of the fur.
Finish with the Details
The last step is to add the details to the Beast. Start by drawing the belt and the claws on his hands and feet. Draw a curved line for the belt and two curved lines for the claws. Then, draw two curved lines for the eyebrows and three small circles for the nose and nostrils. Draw two small circles for the pupils in the eyes, and add small lines for the lashes.
Now you have finished drawing the Beast from Beauty and the Beast. With a little patience and practice, you can draw this beloved Disney character. Once you have your drawing completed, you can color it in and display it for all to see.
