How to Draw Timmy Turner Step by Step
Timmy Turner is the main character of the popular Nickelodeon cartoon “The Fairly OddParents”. He is a 10 year old boy who gets magical help from two fairy godparents, Cosmo and Wanda, who grant him three wishes per day. Timmy is a lovable, yet sometimes mischievous character, and drawing him is a great way to show your appreciation for the show. With a few simple steps, you can draw Timmy Turner in no time.
Step 1: Start with the Face
Begin by sketching out the basic shape of the head and face. This will be a circle with two rectangles coming off either side. These will form the basic shape of the face and the pigtails. Color in the face with a light color of your choice, such as light brown or peach. Then, draw two large circles within the face for the eyes and fill it in with black. Add a small circle in the middle of each eye for the pupils. Draw a curved line beneath each eye for the eyebrows and a small curved line for the nose. Finally, finish off the face by drawing the mouth. Timmy Turner has a large, wide smile, so draw a curved line for the top lip and a slightly smaller curved line for the bottom lip.
Step 2: Draw the Hair
Once you have finished drawing the face, it’s time to work on the hair. Timmy has a unique hairstyle, so use the two rectangles you drew in the beginning as a guide. Now, draw two long rectangles extending outwards from each side of the head. These will be the pigtails. Then, draw two curved lines at the top of each rectangle for the bangs. Remember to add in some small, curved lines for the individual strands of hair. Finally, color in the entire head with a medium shade of your choice, such as brown or black.
Step 3: Add Details
Now it’s time to add the details to the drawing. Draw a curved line on the forehead for the “cowlick” and a curved line on the chin for the cleft. Add two curved lines on the sides of the face for the cheeks. Color in the eyes with a medium shade of your choice, such as blue or green. Add two small circles in the middle of each eye for the pupils. Draw two curved lines beneath each eye for the eyelashes. Finally, give Timmy his signature outfit by drawing a t-shirt and pants.
Step 4: Finish the Drawing
Once you have finished adding the details, it’s time to finish the drawing. Use a dark color of your choice, such as dark brown or black, for the outlines. Then, erase any remaining pencil lines and add any extra details you’d like. Finally, you can add color to the entire drawing with colored pencils or markers. Congratulations! You have now completed your drawing of Timmy Turner.
