Choosing the Right Pencils for Pencil Drawings of Birds

When it comes to pencil drawings of birds, there are a few different types of pencils that can be used. Graphite pencils are the most commonly used, but colored pencils can also be used to create beautiful effects. The type of pencil that is used will depend on the type of bird that is being drawn, as well as the desired effect. For instance, colored pencils can be used to create a more vibrant look for a colorful tropical bird, while graphite pencils can be used for a more realistic look with detailed feather details.

When choosing the right pencils for pencil drawings of birds, it is important to consider the type of paper that is being used. Different types of paper respond to different types of pencils, so it is important to find paper that is suitable for the type of pencil that is being used. For instance, if a graphite pencil is being used, then a heavier paper is usually best, as this will help to hold the pencils better and create a more even look.

Creating the Perfect Background For Your Pencil Drawings of Birds

The background of a pencil drawing of a bird can make or break the entire piece. It is important to create a background that is both simple and effective, as it will help to draw the viewer’s attention to the bird. For a realistic look, a plain background is usually best, as this will not distract from the bird itself. Alternatively, a more detailed and intricate background can be used to create a more dramatic effect.

When creating the background for pencil drawings of birds, it is important to consider the type of bird that is being drawn. For instance, a tropical bird may be best suited to a more colorful and vibrant background, whereas a more subtle and realistic background may be best for a more realistic bird. It is also important to consider the size of the bird, as a larger bird may require a larger background in order to make the bird stand out.
