How to Draw Cartman from South Park: A Step-by-Step Guide

Cartman is one of the main characters in the American adult animated sitcom South Park. He is often described as an outspoken, overweight and selfish fourth grader. He is a close friend of Kyle, Kenny and Stan, but often bullies them. Cartman’s catchphrases include “Respect my authority!” and “Screw you guys, I’m going home!” Cartman is a popular character, making several appearances in fan art and being included in merchandise related to South Park. If you want to draw your own version of Cartman, here is a step-by-step guide.

Step 1: Prepare Your Drawing Supplies

Before you start drawing Cartman, it is important to make sure that you have all the necessary drawing supplies. You will need a pencil, an eraser, a ruler, a piece of paper, and some colored drawing materials such as colored pencils, markers, or crayons. It is also helpful to have a reference image of Cartman to use as a guide. Once you have all of these materials ready, you can begin the drawing process.

Step 2: Draw the Outline of Cartman’s Head

Start by drawing the outline of Cartman’s head. This can be done by first drawing a circle for the top of his head, then a larger circle for the bottom. Connect the two circles with curved lines to form the shape of Cartman’s head. Make sure that the lines are smooth and even. You can use the reference image to help guide you as you draw.

Step 3: Add Details to the Face

Now that you have the basic outline of Cartman’s head, you can start adding details to the face. Begin by drawing two curved lines for the eyes. Then draw a curved line for the nose and a small circle for the mouth. You can also add a line for the eyebrows and a few curved lines for the cheeks. Use the reference image to help guide you as you draw.

Step 4: Draw the Outline of Cartman’s Body

Now you can start drawing the outline of Cartman’s body. Begin by drawing a curved line for the neck and a square for the shoulders. Then draw two curved lines for the arms and two straight lines for the legs. Finally, draw a curved line for the waist and two curved lines for the feet. Again, use the reference image to help guide you as you draw.

Step 5: Add Details to the Body

Now it is time to add details to the body. Begin by drawing two circles for the hands and two ovals for the feet. Then draw curved lines for the fingers and toes. You can also add small circles for the eyes and a curved line for the mouth. Finally, draw curved lines for the shirt and pants, as well as a belt and a hat. Again, use the reference image to help guide you as you draw.

Step 6: Color the Drawing

Now that you have finished drawing Cartman, you can start coloring the drawing. Cartman’s skin is usually a light yellow color, while his shirt and pants are usually a dark blue or brown. His hat is usually a bright red and his shoes are usually black or brown. You can also use other colors to add more details, such as a white stripe on his shirt or a yellow stripe on his hat. Once you have finished coloring the drawing, you can erase any remaining pencil lines.

Step 7: Show Off Your Drawing

Now you have successfully drawn your own version of Cartman from South Park. You can show off your drawing by displaying it in your room, showing it to your friends, or posting it online. No matter how you choose to show off your drawing, your friends and family are sure to be impressed by your artistic skills.
