How to Draw Mickey Mouse Face

Mickey Mouse is one of the most beloved characters of all time, and the most iconic cartoon character of all time. He has been the face of the Walt Disney Company for almost 100 years, appearing in countless films and television shows, as well as in toys, games, and books. Drawing Mickey Mouse is a great way to celebrate the character and show your love and appreciation for him.

Step 1: Start with the Face

Start by drawing a circle for Mickey’s head. This will be the foundation for the rest of your drawing. It helps to first draw a light guide line for the circle, and then go over it in a darker line once you are happy with the size and shape.

Next, draw two small circles inside the big circle to form Mickey’s eyes. Place them slightly higher than the center of the circle and angle them slightly downward. Then draw a small round nose just below the eyes, and a small curved line for the mouth.

Now draw two large ears on either side of the head. The ears should be roughly the same size as the eyes and should be slightly curved. Make sure to leave a small gap between the ears and the head, as this is an important part of Mickey’s signature look.

Step 2: Add the Details

Now you can start adding the details to give your drawing more character. Draw two small circles inside the eyes to form the pupils. Then draw two smaller circles inside the pupils to form the highlights.

Draw a small curved line inside the nose to form the nostrils, and four small curved lines above the mouth to form his whiskers. Finally, draw two curved lines on either side of the head to form Mickey’s iconic ears.

Step 3: Finish with Color

Once you are happy with your drawing, you can finish it off by adding color. Use bright colors like red, yellow, and black to create Mickey’s classic look. You can also add some shading around the eyes, nose, and mouth to give your drawing more dimension.

And there you have it! You have just learned how to draw Mickey Mouse’s face. If you are feeling adventurous, you can even try drawing the rest of his body. Have fun, and happy drawing!
